CHAPTER 12: TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES

12.1 SYSTEM NOT POWERING UP
Using a volt meter, ensure there is power to the wall outlet.
Test system power:
A.1.1 Test System Power Up.
Check the AC power cable connection:

Check the internal modulo power connections:
A.2.1 Check Internal Modulo Power Connections
Check fuses and voltage selection:
3.3.3.2 Changing Fuses
3.3.2.1 Voltage Configuration.
For systems with a UPS, ensure a UPS breaker(s) has not been tripped:
7.2.2 Turning OFF/Resetting the UPS Breakers and 7.2.3 Turning ON the UPS Breakers.
If the system still does not power on, it may be necessary to replace either the front block or the entire modulo. Contact
Ultrasonix Technical Support before attempting this:
7.5.3 Removing the Front Block/Ultrasound Module and 7.5.4 Reinstalling the Front Block/Ultrasound Module
7.4 Replacing the Modulo.
12.2 SYSTEM HAS POWER BUT IS NOT POWERING UP
The system has power if, when plugged in, the LCD display shows the message Digital/Analog No Signal.
Check the AC power cable connection:

Check the internal modulo power connections:

Check all modulo cable connections:
7.4.3 Connectivity.
If the system still does not power on, it may be necessary to replace either the front block or the entire modulo. Contact
Ultrasonix Technical Support before attempting this:
7.5.3 Removing the Front Block/Ultrasound Module and 7.5.4 Reinstalling the Front Block/Ultrasound Module
7.4 Replacing the Modulo.
