What to do if Unitor Welding System has no output, no warning light, and the fan isn't running?

      Oscar CervantesAug 15, 2025
If your Unitor Welding System shows no output, no warning light, and the fan isn't running, consider these potential issues: * The mains fuses might be blown. * Ensure the machine is properly plugged in. * Check for a broken primary cable. * Verify the cable connection to the machine is not loose. * Confirm the machine is switched on. * The on/off switch may be damaged.

Why Unitor Welding System has no output and a yellow warning light?
    • T
      Theresa PattersonJul 31, 2025
The Unitor Welding System might show no output and a yellow warning light due to several reasons: * Voltage protection might be activated because the input voltage is too high (it should be below 285V AC). * Thermal protection could be activated if the system was used at too high a duty cycle. In this case, wait for the machine to cool down. You can weld with more breaks or at a lower current. * Cooling airflow may be obstructed; remove any obstructions. * Heat may be developing in loose electrode holder or ground cable connections. * The fan might be broken; repair or replace it. * There might be too much dirt in the power source compartment; clean it out.
