If your Universal Elliptical Trainer isn't turning on, has no display or a partial display, here are a few things to check: * Ensure the unit is plugged into a functioning wall outlet. * Verify the connection is secure and undamaged; replace the adapter or connection at the unit if damaged. * Inspect the data cable wires (inside the console mast) for any crimps or cuts; replace the cable if necessary. * Confirm the cable is securely connected and properly oriented, ensuring the small latch on the connector lines up and snaps into place. * Check the console display for cracks or damage; replace the console if damaged. * If the console only shows a partial display and all connections are fine, replace the console.

If your Universal Elliptical Trainer rocks or doesn't sit level, the leveling feet can be turned in or out to level the machine. Keep in mind that adjustment may not compensate for extremely uneven surfaces, so you might need to move the machine to a more level area.

      annacarrSep 12, 2025
If you hear a drive train click or tick noise once per full crank revolution on your Universal Elliptical Trainer: * Disconnect the left and right foot assemblies and rotate the crank. If the sound persists, replace the crank/pulley assembly. If the sound does not come from the rotating crank, check the foot assemblies and upper/lower handlebars. * Manually move the foot, leg, and handlebar assemblies to isolate the sound. Replace the part making the sound.
