20. Push the front casing down against the boiler until it
clicks into place (B).
21. Use the screw to secure the front casing (C).
22. Connect the boiler to the power supply.
23. Hand the product over to the end user.
5 Start-up of the built-in version by the
end user
If the communication unit is installed on the boiler, you can
connect using WLAN or LAN (1). If the communication unit is
installed in the boiler, you can connect using LAN (2).
5.1 Starting up the communication unit
(installation site: In the boiler)
1. When you hand the unit over to the end user, the com-
munication unit is in the following condition:
– The power supply has been established
– The eBUS cable has been connected
– The LAN cable is connected
2. Download the multiMATIC or VRC 700 app from the
App Store or Google Play Store, install it on your smart-
phone and follow the instructions in the app.
3. Use your smartphone to scan the 2D code on the rear
of the boiler's front flap when the app asks you to do so.
4. Select the "LAN" option in the app.
5. Carry out the other installation instructions in the app
until the installation is complete.
