4 FF - Fieldbus Function Blocks inside the Val Controls Device
This section contains the supported FF-Fieldbus commands.
The following FF-Fieldbus blocks are available:
• Resource Block (RB2)
• Modbus Transducer Block (MTB)
• Analogue Input Block (AI)
• Analogue Output Block (AO)
• Discrete Input Block (DI)
• Discrete Output Block (DO)
• PID Regulator (PID)
Resource (RB2)
Resources block, used to describe the characteristics of field devices, such as device name,
manufacturer, serial number. There is no input or output parameter for resource block.
