4.2 FF - Function blocks used in Default Setting.
Analogue Input (AI)
Analog input function block, used to receive input data from the transducer blocks (MTB). Other
function blocks can then read the value from the “OUT” port.
In the Default setting:
The “OUT” contains the actual position signal from the Val Controls Device. Values 0.00 to
100.00%
Configuration
If you want to change the sensor input just change the CHANNEL register in the AI Block.

Error Handling
If the IHP24 status is “Ok”, FF-Fieldbus status on the AI channel goes to “Good”
If the IHP24 status is “Error”, FF-Fieldbus status on the AI channel goes to “Bad”
