5. Remove the Cardan shaft guard (1) by
loosening the bolts.

6. Make a reference mark (A) where the Cardan
shaft and front wheel drive dierential pinion
are positioned on the flanges to ensure that
they are mounted in the same position.
7. Remove the six bolts (arrows) securing the
Cardan shaft front flange to the front-wheel
drive.
8. Remove the Cardan shaft, disengaging it
from the coupling sleeve and the output
shaft on the gearbox.
9. Clean the flanges of the Cardan shaft and the
seating surfaces of its flanges on the other
components.

10. Remove the two engine mount bolts to
correctly seat the wooden shim of the
engine support trolley during the work to
separate the engine and fuel tank.
