Do you have a question about the Veichi AC200 Series and is the answer not in the manual?
The VEICHI AC200 Series Frequency Inverter is a versatile device designed for controlling motor speed and various industrial processes. It offers a wide range of functions, important technical specifications, and features for both usage and maintenance.
The inverter's core function is motor control, supporting both asynchronous and permanent magnet synchronous motors. It offers various control modes, including V/F control, high-performance Vector Control (VC) without PG, and VC with PG, allowing for precise speed and torque regulation.
For speed control, the inverter provides multiple frequency setting channels, including keyboard digital input, keyboard potentiometer, analog voltage/current terminals (VS, AI, AS), pulse input (PUL), RS485 communication, UP/DW control, PID control, program control (PLC), and multi-step speed settings. This flexibility allows integration into diverse control systems.
The inverter also manages running commands through various channels: operation panel, external terminals, communication, and expansion cards. It supports start, stop, forward/reverse, jog, multi-step speed, free stop, and reset commands, along with acceleration/deceleration time selection and external fault alarms.
Output signals include two relay outputs, one collector output, and two analog outputs (AO1/AO2) configurable for 0-10V or 4-20mA, or frequency pulse output for AO2. These outputs can be used for monitoring frequency, current, voltage, or other parameters.
Protection functions are comprehensive, covering overvoltage, undervoltage, current limit, overcurrent, overload, electric thermal relay, overheat, overvoltage stall, data protection, rapid speed protection, and input/output loss phase protection, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
The inverter incorporates PID control, speed tracking, power-off restart, jump frequency, upper/lower frequency limit control, program operation, multi-speed, RS485 communication, and analog/frequency impulse output as standard features.
The AC200 inverter is designed for user-friendly operation with a clear keyboard layout and LED monitor. The LED monitor displays various parameters like frequency, current, voltage, motor speed, and percentage, with indicators for units (Hz, A, V, S, RPM, %) and running status (FWD, REV/JOG).
The keyboard includes dedicated keys for Menu (PRG), Confirm/Modify (SET), Up/Down, Shift, Forward Run (FWD), Jog/Reverse (JOG REV), and Stop/Reset (STOP RESET). A keyboard potentiometer allows for inputting frequency, torque, or PID settings.
Parameter settings are organized into groups (F0.xx for basic parameters, F1.xx for run control, F2.xx for digital terminals, F3.xx for analog terminals, F4.xx for system parameters, F5.xx for motor parameters, F6.xx for motor VC parameters, F7.xx for torque control, F8.xx for motor V/F control, FA.xx for protection, Fb.xx for PID control, FC.xx for multi-speed/PLC, and Fd.xx for communication). This structured approach simplifies configuration.
The inverter supports parameter copying, allowing users to upload/download settings between the inverter and keyboard for quick configuration of multiple devices.
The manual emphasizes the importance of periodic overhaul and maintenance to prolong the inverter's lifespan and prevent malfunctions. A recommended overhaul schedule is every 3-4 months after installation.
The manual provides estimated useful lifetimes for key components:
Users are advised to change components before their lifetime expires. For other internal components, it is recommended to contact VEICHI service or authorized centers for replacement due to strict requirements on maintenance technology and product familiarity.
The AC200 also includes fault codes (e.g., E.50 for system abnormal, EOC1 for ACC overcurrent, E.042 for rectifier overheat, EEEP for storage fault) and pre-alarm codes, which aid in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues. The malfunction diagnosis information and types can be accessed through specific parameters, providing valuable insights for maintenance personnel.
