Gateway unit collects data from wireless measuring devices and sends it over the Internet to your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Battery-powered devices send data wirelessly. Includes temperature/humidity sensor, anemometer, rain gauge, and built-in gateway barometer.
Requires Internet access via Ethernet cable for the gateway and a connected smartphone, tablet, or computer to view data.
Verify all listed parts are present before proceeding with the installation of your Lonobox weather station.
Connect the gateway unit to your Internet router via Ethernet cable and power it using the AC/DC 5V adapter.
Open battery cover, connect batteries by removing plastic strip, then close cover securely with screws.
Open lid, remove battery strip, connect batteries, close cover, and secure lid with knobs for the rain gauge.
Attach wind cups and direction arrow using the included tool. Connect batteries and secure the cover.
Navigate to www.lonobox.com in a web browser and click 'CREATE ACCOUNT' to follow setup instructions.
Place sensor in shade with free air circulation, sheltered from sun and extreme weather, avoiding heat sources.
Position gauge in an open area, free from obstructions, at 2-3 feet height, allowing free water drainage.
Install anemometer at least 10 feet above objects, ideally 32 feet, in a clear, unobstructed location.
Calibrate by pointing the wind arrow north and pressing the 'SET' button after battery installation.
