  If your VERITAS Sewing Machine jams, it could be due to thread caught in the hook. Remove the upper thread and bobbin case, turn the handwheel backwards and forwards, and remove any thread remnants. Also, the feed dogs might be packed with lint, so remove the stitch plate and clean them.
