Incorporation: This aerial device is intended for installation on a commercial vehicle
that complies with the requirements specified in the Manufacturer’s
Installation Manual or is otherwise identified by the Manufacturer or the
EU-Representative as a suitable carrier. The completed machine is
then a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) and must, as a whole,
comply with the provisions of Council Directive 2006/42/EC and
harmonized standard EN 280:2013+A1:2015.
Compliance and Incorporation
This partly completed machinery has been designed, manufactured and tested in compliance
with the Council Directive of 17 May 2006 concerning machinery (2006/42/EC), the Council
Directive of 26 February 2014 relating to electromagnetic compatibility (2014/30/EU) and the
Council Directive of 8 May 2000 relating to noise emission in the environment by equipment
for outdoor use (2000/14/EC). The standards and provisions applied are listed below.
The results of all manufacturing checks, examinations and qualification tests of the partly
completed machinery are kept on record at the Manufacturer or the EU-Representative and
are, along with all relevant technical information, available to national authorities on request.
This partly completed machinery is intended for installation on a suitable carrier vehicle, the
completed machinery then being a MEWP. The installation technical file and the results of all
checks, examinations and qualification tests are kept on record at the Installer and are
available national authorities on request.
