If the distance(a)between one side of the workpiece and the cutting
position is too wide for the linear guide,or if one side of the workpiece is not
straight,the linear guide cannot be used.In this case,a straight guide plate
can be firmly clamped to the workpiece and held against the base of the
engraving machine as a guide plate.Feed the tool in the direction of the
arrow.

Notes: The workpiece will be cut in a slightly different size from the sample
gauge.Leave a certain distance(x)between the cutter head and the outside
