Display/Problem Displaymeaning Possiblecauseandremedy
Measured temperature too high
CAUTION:
High fever requires immediate medical
attention!
Measured temperature too low
Room temperature too high
Room temperature too low
Error function display
Blankdisplay
Dead battery indication
Displays «H» when measured temperature higher
than 42.2 °C.
Displays «L» when measured temperature lower
than 34 °C.
Displays «H» in conjunction with the «s» when
room temperature is higher than 40.0°C. Lower the
room temperature to below 40°C.
Displays «L» in conjunction with the «t» when
roomtemperatureislowerthan16.0°C.Increasethe
room temperature to above 16.0°C or alternatively
hold the thermometer tip in your hands for up to 30
seconds to warm.
When system has a malfunction. Turn o and restart
thethermometer.Ifproblemcontinues,please
contact our customer service.
Please check if the battery has been loaded
correctly.Alsocheckpolarity(<+>and<–>)
of batteries.
Ifthesteadybatteryiconistheonlysymbolshown
onthedisplay,thebatteryshouldbereplaced
immediately.

Press the
button to enter Recall Mode when
power is o. The memory icon «M» ashes.
Press and release the
button to recall the last
reading. The number 1 will appear showing the
last saved reading.
Press and release the
button to recall the second
latest reading.
Press and release the
button consecutively to
recallreadingsinsuccession,uptothelast12
readings.

Use the following steps to recall the last 12 temperature measurements.
Pressing and releasing the Start
button after the last 12 readings have been recalled will resume the above sequence from reading 1. The
oldestreadingwillautomaticallybereplacedbythelatestreading.Itisnotnecessarytodeleteoldreadings.
