•Chargethebatteryinawellventilatedarea.
•Keepthebatteryclean.Donotcleanwithpetrochemicals.Dustwithasoftbrushand
ensure that dust does not collect on the battery terminals, recharge socket or inside the
protection boot.
•Storethebatteryinacooldryplace.
•Donotallowthebatterytobecomewetorimmersedinwater.
•Donotdisposeofthebatterypackinwithdomesticwaste.Contactyourlocalwaste
management authority for instruction of safe disposal.
First Aid Following these instructions carefully if the batery breaks or cracks and some
of its contents are contacted or ingested contact the poisions information centre or call a
doctor immediately.
Recharging the battery
2 stroke and 4 stroke
•RemovetherechargingsocketfromtheprotectionbootFig.1
•Connectthechargerplugintotherechargingsocket.
•Plugthechargerintoa240V50Hzoutlet.Chargethebattery
foraminimumof10hoursto48hours.After48hoursthebattery
should be fully charged.
4 stroke (Only)
NOTE:Thebatterypackcanberemovedandrechargedaway
from the mower. Un-clip connector located at lower handles then
remove battery pack from upper handle. Follow the recharging
instructions above.
Keystart Battery
Store the mower in a well ventilated area, away from any naked flames found in gas hot
water heaters.
•Turnthefueltapoff.
•Disconnectthesparkplugleadandwedgeitbetweenthecylindersheadfins.
•Cleanthemowerthoroughlybeforestoring.
•Alwaysstorethebatterywiththechargingsocketinsidetheprotectionboot.
Note: After cleaning, run the engine briefly to dry off the excess moisture before
storing.
