Standby and Wake Up sequences
Table 4-1 lists the standby and wake up sequences.

Condition Printer Reaction
1 The operator engages switch to the
standby position when jet is off
1. Displays a message ‘Entering
Standby Mode’ (10 seconds to
postpone)
2. Switches off all non-essential
hardware (for example, fans, head
heater, pumps, valves, EHT and so
on)
3. Switches off Modulation
4. Switches off the LCD
5. Front panel LED (red) on the printer
blinks to warn the operator that the
printer is in standby mode
6. Retains power to boards (Low
voltage)
2 The operator engages switch to the
standby position when jet is on
1. Performs Quick Stop
2. Steps 1.1 to 1.6 occurs
3 The printer reaches scheduled ink
mixing time while in standby mode
(Wake up /go back to standby mode)
1. Switches on the Fans and LCD
2. Displays a ink mixing warning
screen (30 seconds to postpone)
3. Performs Ink Mixing
4. Displays a message ‘Entering
Standby Mode’ (30 seconds to
postpone)
5. After 30 seconds, switches on the
fans and LCD
6. Front panel LED (red) on the printer
blinks to warn the user that the
printer is in standby mode
7. Retains power to boards (Low
voltage)
4 The operator engages switch to the
‘on’ position
Performs system reboot (restores all
power to the hardware units and resets
the memory, electronics and so on)
