5. Programmierung
Der Funktionsdecoder Basic kann als Funktionsdeco-
derund/oderalsRailCom-SenderzurErgänzungvon
(nichtRailCom-fähigen)Lok-undFunktionsdecodernein-
gesetztwerden.DieEinstellungenfürseineFunktionals
FunktionsdecoderunddieEinstellungeneinesDecoders,
für den er die Funktion eines RailCom-Senders über-
nimmt,werdeninzweigetrenntenBereichenabgespei-
chert,demFunktionsdecoder-BereichunddemRailCom-
Bereich.
ZurÜbernahmederDatenvonDCC-Decodernoder
Motorola-DecodernmitRegister-Programmierunginden
RailCom-Bereich werden der Decoder und der RailCom-
Bereich des Funktionsdecoders Basic gemeinsam pro-
grammiert.FürMotorola-DecoderohneRegisterprogram-
mierungkannz.B.dieAdresseimRailCom-Bereichdes
Funktionsdecoders Basic gespeichert werden.
ImDCC-FormatkönnenRegisteroderKongurationsva-
riablen(CVs)programmiertwerden,dieHauptgleispro-
grammierungistebenfallsmöglich.ImMotorola-Format
werden die Einstellungen in Register programmiert.

VonderZentraleauskönnenSiedieKongurationsvaria-

RailComtransmitteraresavedintwoseperatememory

TotakeoverthedataintotheRailComareafromDCC
decoders or Motorola decoders with register program-
ming,thedecoderandtheRailComareaofthefunction
decoderbasicareprogrammedtogether.WithMotorola
decoderswithoutregisterprogrammingforinstance,the
addresscanbesavedintheRailComareaofthefunction
decoderbasic.
InDCCformatitispossibletoprogramregisterorcong-
urationvariables(CVs),maintrackprogrammingcanbe
usedaswell.InMotorolaformatthesettingsaresaved
in registers.
Programming with DCC central units
Youcanprogrammthecongurationvariables(CV)ofthe
module from the digital central unit. See the chapter in
themanualofyourcentralunitwherethebytewisepro-
grammingofcongurationvariables(CVs)isexplained.
With central units that allow only register-programming
itisonlypossibletoprogramthevariablesCV#1and
CV#29(=register1and5).
Programming with the Central Station
and the Mobile Station
WiththeCentralStationortheMobileStationofMärklin**
youcanprogramtheregisters,butthevaluetobesetis
limited to 80. Select the article no. 29750 from the loco-
motivedatabaseandprogramthedecoderasdescribed
forthisarticleintheCentralStation´sorMobileStation´s
manual.
Programming with Motorola central
units
Putthelocomotiveonatrackovaloratracksectioncon-
nected to the central unit’s track output. Make sure no
othervehiclethantheoneyouintendtoprogramisset
onthetrackasthedecoderinsidethisvehiclemightbe
programmed as well.
Please note:IfyouuseacentralunitforbothDCCand
Motorola format it is recommended to program the de-
coderintheDCCformat.Afterhavingnishedprogram-
mingthedecoderitispossibletocontrolitinMotorola
format as well.
Resetthecentralunit(bysimultaneouslypushingthe
buttons“stop”and“go”forsometime)orquicklyswitch
