Any fault on a component of the heating
system can trigger the transmission of a
"Fehlerbyte" error byte to an appropriate
central fault message facility. However,
this requires the fault message to be
actually captured by the Vitotronic con-
trol unit.
The fault code can be linked to a plain
text display via the EIB system and be
displayed.
You can select the transmission inter-
val.

Zykluszeit (Cycle time)
Menu for the selection of the transmis-
sion interval to be assigned to the central
fault message error bit.
Menu selection Explanation
5 s bis 120 min (5 s to
120 min)
The fault message is transmitted cyclically to the EIB sys-
tem in accordance with the selected interval.
nicht zyklisch senden
(do not transmit cycli-
cally)
The fault message is either never transmitted to the EIB
system or only in the case of a change.
Note
The shorter the cycle time, the higher the
BUS load (for example, see page 22).
Max Abweichung (Max deviation)
Menu for the selection of the transmis-
sion interval subject to the setting of the
cycle time.
