Why won't my Villager Lawn Mower engine start?
- DDean WilsonAug 11, 2025
If your Villager Lawn Mower engine won't start, it might be due to several reasons. First, check if you are out of fuel and refuel if needed. It could also be due to bad fuel; if the engine was stored without treating or draining gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline, drain the fuel tank and refuel with fresh gasoline. Another possible cause is a faulty, fouled, or improperly gapped spark plug, in which case you should replace it. If the spark plug is wet with fuel, dry and reinstall it. In cold conditions, try pushing the prime button. Finally, the fuel filter might be clogged, or there could be a carburetor or ignition malfunction, or stuck valves, requiring you to replace or repair faulty components.
