Programming procedure for the levels of con-
trast and brightness of the LCD
1) Lift the handset.
2) Press the
and buttons simultaneously and keep them
pressed until the
button starts blinking.
3) Release the buttons.
4) Press one of the 4 buttons beneath the handset:
, ,
, . Self-starting is performed on the rst programmed
speech unit (by default the Master).
5) Adjust the brightness with the
and buttons and adjust
the contrast with the
or buttons.
6) You exit the procedure with a time out (Conversation time) or by
hanging up the micro-telephone.
Default data restore procedure
1) Lift the handset.
2) Press the
and buttons simultaneously and keep them
pressed until the
button starts blinking.
3) Release the buttons.
4) Press and hold down the
button.
5) When an audible warning is emitted (during the sound) release
the
button and briey press the button.
The indoor unit programming has now been deleted. Make sure
that the programming has been successfully deleted by press-
ing the button. The indoor unit should emit an audible
warning (3 beeps).
User congurations
These operations are to be done with the indoor unit on
standby and the handset hung up.
Selecting call tunes
You can select the chimes from among 10 call tunes
Button 1 selects the ENTRANCE PANEL CALL tune.
Button 2 selects the INTERCOM CALL tune.
Button 3 is used to select the LANDING CALL tune (with specic
electronic module).
1) Press and hold down the
button (for 2 s) until the button
starts blinking accompanied by an audible warning.
2) Press button
or or and the indoor unit will start playing
the last tune in memory.
3) Repeatedly press button
or or to select the kind of tune
you want.
4) Press the
button to save the tune or wait 15s. At the end of
conguration, the blinking
button goes out.
Chime volume adjustment
The chime volume can be set to 10 levels.
1) Press and hold down the
button (for 2 s) until the
button starts blinking accompanied by an audible warning.
2) Press button
to decrease or to increase the chime
volume. Each time the buttons are pressed the volume chang-
es by one level.
3) After selecting the required volume, press button
to save
the tune or wait 15s. At the end of conguration, the
button stops blinking.
Muting the chime (User Away function)
To mute the chime, press the button and hold it down (approx-
imately 2s). Deactivation is conrmed with a "low-pitched" tone
and the
button lighting up with a steady light. Chime reac-
tivation is signalled by a "high-pitched" tone and the button
going out. With the user away, the indoor unit is able to keep up
to 4 missed calls in memory by blinking the
button. Saving
to memory consists of one ash per missed call. The signalling
takes place with ashes every 10s. When the chime is restored
the counter is reset. This function can be activated with the indoor
unit at rest.
Adjustments (during a conversation)
Brightness adjustment (10 levels with indoor
unit in a conversation)
Adjustment is possible during communications and self-starting,
press the
and buttons (underneath the handset) to adjust
the brightness.
External call voice unit volume adjustment (10
levels with indoor unit in a conversation)
Use the and buttons (underneath the handset) to adjust
the desired level. A beep is emitted on reaching the maximum or
minimum level.
It is adjusted during a conversation.
Internal call voice unit volume adjustment (10
levels with indoor unit in a conversation)
Use the and buttons (underneath the handset) to adjust
the desired level. A beep is emitted on reaching the maximum or
minimum level.
