This document is a user manual for a VirtuFit Premium Trampoline with Safety Net, providing comprehensive instructions for assembly, safe use, maintenance, and basic trampoline skills.

Function Description:

The VirtuFit Premium Trampoline with Safety Net is an outdoor recreational device designed for jumping and bouncing activities. It features a robust frame, a jumping mat, springs for elasticity, a protective frame pad, and an enclosure net with poles to ensure user safety by preventing falls off the trampoline. The trampoline is intended for outdoor use only and is designed for single-user operation to avoid collision hazards. It comes in various sizes, accommodating different space requirements and user preferences.

Usage Features:

The trampoline is designed for recreational use with a strong emphasis on safety.

  • Age Recommendation: Recommended for users aged 6+ years.
  • Supervision: Adult supervision is required at all times.
  • Safety Net: The enclosure net must always be closed before jumping to prevent falls.
  • Single User: Only one user is allowed on the trampoline at a time to prevent collisions.
  • Footwear: Users should jump without shoes.
  • Personal Items: Pockets and hands should be empty before jumping.
  • Jumping Area: Always jump in the middle of the mat.
  • Prohibited Actions: No somersaults or flips are allowed due to the risk of serious injury. Do not intentionally rebound off the enclosure net as this can weaken it. Do not exit by jumping.
  • Environmental Conditions: Do not use the mat when it is wet. Avoid use in strong wind conditions and secure the trampoline if necessary.
  • Health Considerations: Consult a doctor before jumping, especially for children with health problems. It is advisable not to bounce immediately after a meal.
  • Assembly: Requires two adults in good physical condition for assembly. Proper footwear and balance are necessary to avoid falls during assembly.
  • Placement: Must be placed on a level surface at least 2m from any structures or obstructions. Not suitable for installation over concrete, asphalt, or other hard surfaces, or near swimming pools, swings, or climbing frames.
  • Ladder: If an access ladder is used, it should be removed when the trampoline is not in use.
  • Moving the Trampoline: If the trampoline needs to be moved, it should be done by at least two people, keeping it horizontal and slightly lifted. For any other type of move, the trampoline should be disassembled. All connector points should be secured with weather-resistant tape (e.g., duct tape) during a move to prevent dislodging.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is crucial for safety and product longevity.

  • Pre-Use Check: Before the first use and at the beginning of each season, and then at regular intervals (every 2 weeks), check the main parts (frame, suspension system, mat, padding, and enclosure) for damage.
  • Tightness Check: Check all nuts and bolts for tightness and tighten as required.
  • Spring-Loaded Joints: Ensure all spring-loaded (pit pin) joints are intact and cannot become dislodged.
  • Coverings and Edges: Check all coverings and sharp edges and replace if required.
  • Frame Pad: Ensure the frame pad covers all metal parts and springs.
  • Enclosure Net: Inspect the enclosure net before each use. Make sure the hook-and-loop fasteners are closed correctly.
  • Storage: In winter or during longer periods of non-use, it is recommended to remove snow, store the mat and enclosure indoors, and store the protective padding in a dry area to support product longevity. All parts should be dry and packed securely before storage.
  • Wind Security: Outdoor trampolines should be equipped with a device to prevent displacement due to wind (e.g., steel bars in the ground, sandbags, or water bags). Items catching wind like the net and mat should be removed in strong winds. The trampoline should be tied down with ropes attached to the trampoline pad in a minimum of three evenly distributed places across the frame. Do not secure the legs as this may cause misalignment.
  • Weather Cover: For short periods of non-use, a weather cover is recommended to avoid debris on the jump mat.
  • Daily Maintenance: Clean and remove sweat/moisture after each use. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Check that the trampoline is free from dust and dirt.
  • Semi-Annual Maintenance: Inspect and tighten all bolts and nuts related to the trampoline.
  • Warranty Exclusion: Warranty claims are excluded if defects result from maintenance/repair not performed by an official dealer, improper use, neglect, poor maintenance, failure to follow manufacturer's instructions, incorporation into the soil, or defects caused by external influences (e.g., climate and weather).
  • Environmental Impact: Sunlight, rain, snow, and extreme temperatures reduce the strength of trampoline parts over time.
