Why is my vitapur GWF8BLK leaking water?

If water is leaking out of your Vitapur Water Dispenser, there are several possible causes. First, ensure that the water filtration system is sitting level and that the bottle support collar or spike has been removed. Second, check the float seal to make sure it's inserted correctly and free from residue or charcoal particles. Third, if the float mechanism is sticking, remove the silicone float seal, separate the inner float, wipe it clean, and re-assemble. Finally, if water is leaking between the upper and lower chambers, drain water from the dispenser taps to bring the water level in the bottom chamber to the maximum level line. Avoid adding water to the upper chamber if the lower chamber is already full.

What to do if my vitapur GWF8BLK will not filter water?

If your Vitapur Water Dispenser isn't filtering water, it could be due to a blocked pre-filtration system or filter. Try lifting the upper chamber and unscrewing the filter to release any air lock. Shake the filter or gently tap it on the countertop, then screw it back into the upper chamber. Another reason might be that the filter wasn't soaked for 30 minutes before use; ensure you soak the filter properly. If the blocking continues, consider replacing the filter with a new Vitapur® Long Life Filter.
