Why is my vitapur VWD1185BLS not hot or cold enough?
    • F
      Francisco AndersonAug 6, 2025
Several factors could affect the water temperature. The water in the tank may have been used up, so replace it with a full bottle and allow time for heating or cooling. Ensure the unit is plugged in and that the hot and cold power switches at the back are in the ON position. The indicator lights may not be lit because the cooling or heating cycle activates automatically when the water temperature is outside the optimal range, so allow the cycle to complete. The circuit breaker in your home may be tripped, or the fuse may have blown, so reset the breaker or replace the fuse. The hot water thermostat may have tripped, so turn off the hot water switch for 15-30 minutes to allow the tank to cool, then turn it back on. Finally, ensure the lower door is properly closed.

What to do if my vitapur VWD1185BLS Water Dispenser is not dispensing water?
    • B
      Billy PerezAug 21, 2025
If your vitapur Water Dispenser isn't dispensing water, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the water bottle is empty and replace it with a full one. It's also possible that mineral deposits are clogging the tanks, in this case you should refer to Cleaning of Reservoirs. Another possibility is an air pocket; try pushing down the dispenser buttons to prime the unit. Lastly, if it's the hot water that's not dispensing, ensure the child safety lock is deactivated by sliding the red lock button to the side while pressing the hot water button.

Why is my vitapur Water Dispenser so noisy?
    • G
      Gordon TaylorAug 28, 2025
A noisy vitapur Water Dispenser can be attributed to a couple of reasons: First, make sure the dispenser is placed on an even surface that can adequately support its weight. Second, the noise might simply be the water pump filling the tank, which is normal.
