Chapter 2 Preparation and Use
Doppler Preparation
Ensure that the Vet-Dop2 is fully charged and assemble the unit, sensor, headset,
appropriate cuff, ultrasound gel and alcohol. Turn on the Vet-Dop2 by pressing and
immediately releasing the red power button on the keypad. Do not hold the button
down unless you wish to turn the device off.
Connect the sensor probe to the Vet-Dop2 by plugging into the keyed receptacle (NOTE:
Cable will face in the direction shown in Figure 3.)
