ENGINE
ELECTROMOTOR MWM MANAGEMENT
The Volare is equipped with an electronic diagnosis system that
makes it possible to inform eventual problems in the engine by
means of glowing lamps on the panel. If the diagnosis lamp starts
glowing, the motor may start loosing capacity (motor autoprotection activation)
in some seconds.
The protection system makes the motor reduce, gradually, its rotation to protect
its components.
The reduction features automatic levels of operation for each case as we will see
below, for each model.
Let us look at some problems that may occur and activate the motor autoprotection
system (loss of capacity): The motor superheating; problems in the injection
system; problems in the supply system.
Precautions with the Electronic Module
Avoid touching the electronic connectors of the electronic module. If necessary,
the blocking system may be easily disconnected with your hands, therefore, do
not use instruments to carry out this activity.
Do not use improper materials with brass pieces, multimeters test leads used
for maintenance or any other type of mediation. If not, the terminal contacts may
be damaged.
To ensure a good operation of the electronic module connectors, it is necessary
to lock them perfectly.
This helps to avoid two inconvenients:
• The circulation of excessive current in the low batteries.
• Subsequently, the auxiliary batteries current may become insufficient to activate
the starting.
ELECTRONIC MODULE
The diagnosis connector is located on the panel, on the central switchboard.
