CHANGING OF OIL AND LUBRICATING FILTER IN THE ENGINE
Motor lubricating oil change procedure:
VEHICLE’S REACTION
ATTENTION: If the diagnosis lamp starts glowing, stop the vehicle
immediately because the motor may loose capacity and depending on the
gravity of the problem will switch OFF.
To check which case of the abovementioned relates to your vehicle, STOP
in a safe place, activate the parking brake (do not couple the gear) and then
speed it up 100%. After it, it is possible to check the failure gravity. After it,
turn off the vehicle and keep it turned off during several minutes, then turn
it on. If the failure occurs again, avoid risky surpassings.
All the problems that occur in the motor control and management
system, small or big failures, are recorded in the electronic module and
may be deleted only by means of the diagnosis equipment of the Volare
Representantes.
See the orientation chart on the previous page.
CHECK OF THE LUBRICATING OIL LEVEL IN THE ENGINE
Position: in the engine; to reach open the hood.
Check the level, parking your vehicle on a plane site and preferably after the
engine was inactive during the night. If it is not possible, wait at least from 3 to 5
minutes, with the switched off engine, in order to permit the lubricative oil settle
on the bottom of the carter to avoid a wrong reading.
