and added with anticorrosion agent. This
protects from formation of incrustations
that, as the time goes on, form a layer
around the grille, complicating the warm dissipation and leading to a bad
performance of the engine.
Cooling Liquid Level Check
The cooling liquid is comprised of a mixture of clean water and an addititive agent.
It is a closed system with a compensator tank (1) in which the level is checked.
Always try to correct the level with a cold engine, except for some special
cases.
When the engine is cold, the level should not be lower than the minimum mark – MIN.
When the engine is hot, the level should not exceed the maximum mark – MAX.
Cooling Liquid Level Check Procedure is as follows:
a) Position the vehicle on a plane site;
b) The water level shuld be checked through the side cop of the compensation
tank;
c) If necessary, add water up to the lower edge of the supply hole.
To fill in the compensation tank, remove the upper cap and check the level and
add: water and additive agent following the recommended ratio.
