– Remove interior mirror ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep.

– Remove moulded headliner ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70 ; Roof trim .
– Moulded headliner can now be lowered sufficiently to allow
windscreen to be cut out without damage occurring to moulded
headliner.
– If vehicle has a rain and light sensor - G397- , remove the
sensor ⇒ Electrical system; Rep. gr. 92 ; Windscreen washing
system; Removing and installing rain and light sensor - G397- .
– For vehicles with front camera for driver assist systems -
R242- remove front camera ⇒ Electrical system; Rep. gr. 94 ;
Lane departure warning; Removing and installing front camera
for driver assist systems -R242-
– Detach earth wire -5- on securing bolt -6- and secure Kapton
line to windscreen with adhesive tape.
– Connectors -2- and -3- must then be separated and unclipped
from holder. Secure wires -1- and -4- to windscreen with ad‐
hesive tape.
