6.2.2 Assembly overview - noise insulation

♦ Slight discrepancies may need to be allowed for depending on the type of engine.
♦ The bolts -3- are microencapsulated and must be renewed each time they are loosened.
1 - Noise insulation
❑ The -arrow- points in di‐
rection of travel.
❑ Removing:
– Remove bolts -2- and
-3-.
– Pull noise insulation to‐
wards rear out of mount‐
ings in lock carrier.
2 - Bracket
❑ Left
3 - Bolt
❑ Qty. 2 on each side
❑ Specified torque: 35 Nm
4 - Threaded rivet
❑ Qty. 2 on each side
5 - Bolt
❑ Bolts are microencap‐
sulated.
❑ Bolts must always be re‐
placed by new ones af‐
ter being removed.
❑ Qty. 4
❑ Specified torque: 20 Nm
6 - Bolt
❑ Qty. 6
❑ Specified torque: 2 Nm
7 - Bolt
❑ Bolts are microencap‐
sulated.
❑ Bolts must always be replaced by new ones after being removed.
❑ Qty. 3
