8. CREATING A CHARGING CABLE
If not present yet, produce a suitable charging cable. For this, a prepared cable (9) with two
4 mm banana plugs (10) on the one side and open cable ends (11) on the other side is
included with the charger.

Solder suitable plug connectors protected against polarity reversal to the open cable ends.
They must t the high current plug connectors at the rechargeable battery. Ensure that the
contacts of the plug connector to the cable are secure, and the polarity correct:
Red = plus (+)
Black = minus (-)
The solder connections must be insulated with shrink hoses.
The charging cable (see gure 2, item 9) is only displayed coiled for photo-technical
reasons. Only charge with the cable uncoiled.
