What to do if my VOLTCRAFT Battery Charger triggers a warning signal after start-up?
    • S
      Shannon AndrewsAug 4, 2025
The charger performs a self-test when connected to power. If rechargeable batteries are in the charging slot during this process, it can trigger a warning. Remove the rechargeable batteries and take the VOLTCRAFT Battery Charger out of operation for approximately 5 minutes.

Why is my VOLTCRAFT IPC4 not reaching the maximum set charging current?
    • Z
      zoe58Aug 14, 2025
The maximum charging current may not be reached because the total charging power of 25 W has been exceeded or a device is connected to the rear USB charging port. To solve this, either reduce the current setting or the number of rechargeable battery cells, or remove the device from the USB charging port.

How to fix a VOLTCRAFT IPC4 that is not detecting the rechargeable battery?
    • H
      hgeorgeAug 25, 2025
If your VOLTCRAFT Battery Charger isn't detecting the rechargeable battery, it could be due to dirty or oxidised battery contacts, or a deeply discharged battery. Clean the rechargeable battery poles and try again. If that doesn't work, try recharging the rechargeable battery using the “Activation” programme.
