f) LED 6 “Boost”
LED 6 is used to display the “Boost charging function” for deep-discharged rechargeable batteries. If the charging
programmes “Mode 3, 4, 7 or 8” are used, this LED ashes for max. thirty minutes and shows charging up to a
charge end voltage of 16 V. Then the charger switches to the next charging step.
If the charging programmes “Mode 1, 2, 5 and 6” are used, this charging phase is skipped. The LED then lights up
at once and the charging programme switches to the next charging step.
g) LED 7 “Rechargeable Battery Fully Charged”
When LED 7 is lit, the rechargeable battery is fully charged and ready for use. A low charging current will be applied
to try to maintain the charge condition for up to twelve days. After 12 days, the charger automatically switches to
“Maintenance charge”.
h) LED 8 “Maintenance Charge”
The charger continually checks the charge condition of the rechargeable battery and will independently provide a
maintenance charge current to the rechargeable battery depending on voltage.
