Remove the vibration damper and belt pulley. Socket
12 mm.

Remove the polygon hub center bolt. Use tool 884
895 as a counterhold.
IMPORTANT! Do not turn the crankshaft belt
pulley without holding the fuel injection pump
gear wheel in position. The gear wheel can
otherwise engage incorrectly and be damaged
or cause damage.

Remove oil feed pipe and oil delivery pipe and their
bracket. Socket 12 mm.
NOTE! The bracket screws have sprung washers
which may not be mixed with the other washers.

Remove the cylinder block reinforcement panel.
Socket 14 mm.
NOTE! Do not drop the spacer washers between the
panel and the engine block.
