Piston, installing
1
Install one snap ring in the piston. Heat the piston to
approximately 100°C.

Lubricate the piston, piston bolt and connecting rod
bushing with engine oil.
Repair Instructions

Position the piston and connecting rod so that the
front marking on the pistons (arrowed) and the num-
bering on the connecting rods is in the position illus-
trated.
4
Carefully push in the piston bolt with a suitable drift
and install the other snap ring.
NOTE! The piston bolt should be pushed in easily not
hammered in.
