Adjust the clearance between the rocker and the
valve yoke on cylinder 1.

Turn the engine a third of a revolution in the direction
of rotation and adjust the clearance for the yoke and
rocker on cylinder 5. The valves on cylinder 2 then
“rock”. Check the play for the other cylinders in firing
order.

Clean the valve cover, replace the damaged gasket.
Tightening torques see “Workshop manual, Technical
data”.
Test run the engine and check that there is no oil
leakage.

Press the valve yoke down.

Turn the adjustment screw carefully using fingers un-
til just comes into contact with the valve stem.

Lock the adjustment screw with the locknut. Adjust
the yoke for valve pair no. 2 in the same way.
