CYLINDER HEAD
Remove rocker arms
Mark left and right rocker arms.
Slacken bolts in sequence shown adjacent.

Remove cylinder heads
Do not lift cylinder head directly up otherwise cylinder
liners may lift as
well.
Use two bars (0 12 mm, length 300 mm) and lift off
cylinder head as illustrated.
Place cylinder heads on wooden blocks to prevent da-
mage.

Remove:
- cylinder head gaskets
- guide sleeves, use a pair of pliers.

Fit liner holders 5093
Two per side.
Liner holders must always be used when cylinder head
is removed.
OIL SUMP, LOWER CRAIMKCASE
Remove:
- oil sump with gasket
- oil strainer with
O-ring
- splash panel
- lower crankcase
- O-ring for oil channels and guide sleeve.
