Reconditioning engine
CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL, PULLEY
Install new seal in timing gear case
Grease the
seal.
Use drift 5103.
Assembly

Install crankshaft pulley
Fit locking sector 5112 to the flywheel casing at the
lower bolt
(RHD-vehicles
= upper bolt.)
Make sure that key in crankshaft does not fall out.
Tighten nut to correct torque, see left.
36 mm socket.
IMPORTANT! There are two different types of nuts.
160-180 Nm

TIMING SCALE
Check/adjust only if necessary, eg if plate is removed or
