The VTech BM3800N and BM3800N-2 are full-color pan and tilt video monitors designed to assist in supervising infants. These devices are not medical devices and should not be used as a substitute for adult supervision. The system includes a parent unit and one or two baby units, depending on the model (BM3800N for single baby unit, BM3800N-2 for up to two baby units).
Function Description:
The primary function of the video monitor is to provide real-time audio and video monitoring of a baby. The parent unit features a 2.8-inch color LCD screen, allowing parents to view their baby. The baby unit is equipped with a camera lens, microphone, light sensor, night light, and projection light. The parent unit can remotely control the pan and tilt functions of the baby unit's camera, as well as activate and adjust the night light and projection light. Two-way talkback functionality allows parents to speak to their baby through the parent unit. The system also includes temperature monitoring, lullaby playback, and sound detection features.
