Why is hydraulic fluid leaking from my Wabtec Ricon TITANIUM S Lifting Systems?
    • J
      johnsonchristopherAug 7, 2025
Hydraulic fluid leaks can occur due to a loose hydraulic fitting. Ensure the fitting is properly tightened. Alternatively, a hydraulic component may be defective, in which case you should discontinue use of the lift and have repairs made by a qualified service technician or Ricon dealer.

How to fix a Wabtec Ricon TITANIUM S rollstop that does not open?
    • R
      Regina MathewsAug 29, 2025
If the rollstop on your Wabtec Lifting Systems is not opening, it may be due to an obstruction of the rollstop release latch. Raise the lift and remove any obstruction that you find.

What to do if Wabtec Ricon TITANIUM S Lifting Systems lift functions have no operation?
    • J
      James LongNov 14, 2025
If the lift functions are not working, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the control system circuit breaker has tripped and reset it if necessary. Also, the backup pump manual release valve may be open; turn it clockwise until it is slightly snug. Low hydraulic fluid could also be the problem; ensure the pump hydraulic fluid level is at the required FULL level while the platform is at ground level, and add Texaco 01554 Aircraft Hydraulic Oil or equivalent U.S. mil spec H5606G fluid if needed. Finally, air trapped in the hydraulic system can prevent operation; purge the system by operating the lift through its maximum range of travel for at least four complete cycles. Note that a hydraulic hose or fitting leak may also cause this problem, in which case you should contact a ...

What to do if Wabtec Lifting Systems lift functions have abnormal operation?
    • J
      Jeffrey FloresNov 21, 2025
Abnormal operation of lift functions can stem from several causes. Check for any obstruction in the lifting frame and remove it, inspecting for damage. Ensure the backup pump manual release valve is not open by turning it clockwise until slightly snug. Low hydraulic fluid may also be the issue; with the platform at ground level, confirm the pump's hydraulic fluid level is at the FULL mark, adding Texaco 01554 Aircraft Hydraulic Oil or equivalent U.S. mil spec H5606G fluid as needed. Lastly, trapped air in the hydraulic system can cause this; purge the system by running the lift through its maximum range of travel for a minimum of four complete cycles. (For vehicles that do not use full travel of lift, the maximum range of travel is accomplished by raising vehicle on a service hoist or ramp...
