10.2.4 Cleaning/changing the air filter
1. Take off the air filter cover.
2. Remove the main filter element and the pre-filter and check for holes or cracks; change the filter
elements if necessary.
Main filter element: Change the filter element if it is heavily soiled.
Pre-filter: Only use compressed air at a low pressure to clean the pre-filter. If it is heavily soiled,
the filter element must be washed out with a mild detergent and warm water; reflush with clear
water. Allow it to dry completely before installation.
3. Wipe out the filter housing with a clean cloth. Do not use compressed air!
4. Ensure that the pre-filter dirt ejection slot is clean.
5. Insert both filter elements into the filter housing and screw the air filter cover on.
10.2.5 Checking oil level and topping up.
1. Remove dirt around the oil sight glass.
WARNING
Explosion and fire risk
Do not use fuels or other solvents with a low flash point to clean the air filter.
Use compressed air, a mild detergent or warm water.
NOTE
Do not operate the machine without its air filter - this can lead to severe damage to the
engine.
NOTE
During cleaning, dirt must not get into the engine air intake - this can lead to damage to
the engine.

If the vibrating rammer is transported in a horizontal position or has even been shifted, it
must stand for 15 minutes in an upright position before the oil level can be checked.
