2. Tilt the vibrating rammer so that it forms a right angle with the ground.
3. Check the oil level through the oil sight glass. The oil must fill 1/2 to 3/4 of the oil sight glass.
4. If the oil level is too low, top it up; for the oil specification, see the section Technical Data.
5. Tilt the vibrating rammer forward and secure it in this position.
6. Unscrew the oil sight glass. Clean the thread on the oil sight glass and wrap with Teflon tape.
7. Fill the housing with oil through the opening in the oil sight glass.
8. Screw the oil sight glass on again, but do not tighten.
9. Place the vibrating rammer in an upright position to check the oil level.

NOTE
Do not overfill the rammer system. If the oil level is too high, this can lead to a blockage in
the ramming system. This can lead to defective operation and damage to the rammer
system.
