Low-load operation
Possible damage to the engine due to low-load operation.
► Run the engine at idling speed or at high engine speed at over 20%
engine load.
Possible consequences of low-load operation are:
• Increased engine oil consumption.
• Dirt in engine due to engine oil in exhaust system.
• Blue smoke in exhaust gas.
Stopping the engine
Possible damage to the engine when it is stopped after running under high
load.
► Operate the engine at idling. This avoids engine damage and
increases the service life.
1. Let the engine run at idling speed for five minutes without any load.
2. Turn the starting key to “0” and remove it.
