If your Wagan Inverter shuts down and the fault LED is illuminated, several factors could be the cause. First, the battery voltage may be below 10V, in which case you should charge or replace the battery. Second, the inverter might be overheating; allow it to cool, ensure adequate ventilation, and reduce the load to the rated continuous power output. Third, the equipment connected to the inverter may be drawing too much power; either use a higher capacity inverter or avoid using the equipment. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the unit may be defective; refer to the warranty and contact customer service.
