Why does my Wagan Inverter automatically shut down with the fault LED on?

  Your Wagan Inverter might be automatically shutting down with the fault LED lit due to two main reasons: either the battery voltage is below 9.5 volts, or the inverter is overheating. If the battery voltage is the issue, charge or replace the battery. If it's overheating, allow the inverter to cool down, check that it has adequate ventilation, and reduce the load on the inverter to the specified TrueRated™ power max output.

  A continuous buzzing sound from your Wagan Inverter can be caused by several factors: 1. Input voltage is below 10.5 volts: Keep the input voltage above 10.5 volts. 2. Poor or weak battery condition: Recharge or replace the battery. 3. Poor or loose cable connection: Inspect terminals and tighten all connections. 4. Inadequate power being delivered to the inverter or excessive voltage drop: Use heavier gauge DC cables and keep the cable length as short as possible.

  If your Wagan Inverter has no output voltage and no LEDs are lit, the issue is likely a blown fuse. Check the vehicle’s Accessory Socket Fuse. If the fuse is blown, replace it with the same type and rating fuse.
