What to do if my WAGNER Paint Sprayer stops spraying?
    • M
      Michael HollandJul 25, 2025
If the spray pattern becomes distorted or stops spraying completely while the gun is triggered, it could be due to a clogged spray tip or inlet filter. First, lock the spray gun and rotate the spray tip 180 degrees. If it's hard to rotate, relieve pressure by slowly turning the PRIME/SPRAY knob to PRIME, unlock the spray gun, and squeeze the trigger while pointing at scrap material. Release the trigger, lock the gun, and try rotating the tip again. Also, check the inlet filter; remove it from the suction tube and clean it with warm, soapy water for latex materials or mineral spirits for oil-based materials, then snap it back into place.
