What to do if Watts Premier Water System filter housing leaks?
    • M
      Mrs. Kelly FischerAug 4, 2025
If water leaks from the blue/white filter housing: * Ensure the bowl is properly tightened. * If there is a kinked o-ring: Turn off the water supply and release the pressure. Replace the o-ring if necessary. Lubricate it and make sure it is seated properly in the filter bowl before reinstalling.

Why is my Watts Premier Water System producing water slowly?
    • C
      Caitlin GreenAug 8, 2025
Several factors can cause low or slow water production. Check the following: * Ensure incoming water pressure is at least 40 psi. If it's too low, Watts Premier sells a booster pump. * Confirm the water supply is on and the Adapta Valve is fully open. * Inspect tubing for crimps and straighten or repair them. * Replace clogged pre-filters. * Replace the membrane and Flow Restrictor if the membrane is fouled.

What to do if Watts Premier Water System constantly running and won't shut off?
    • J
      Jeffery GrantAug 12, 2025
If your system won't shut off, there are several potential causes: * Low water pressure: Ensure a minimum of 40 psi incoming water pressure. * Crimp in supply tube: Inspect the tubing and straighten or repair as necessary. * High water pressure: Verify that the incoming water pressure does not exceed 80 psi. A pressure relief valve may be required. * High pressure in: Empty the storage tank of water and set the tank air pressure to 5 psi.

Why does my Watts Premier Water System faucet leak from the airgap feature?
    • X
      Xavier LewisAug 16, 2025
Airgap faucet leaks can occur due to: * A crimp in the drain line: Check the tubing. * A restriction in the drain line: Straighten all drain lines, clear any blockages, and cut off any excess tubing. * A clogged drain tube: This is often caused by the dishwasher or garbage disposal. Disconnect the 3/8" black line at the drain, clean it out with a wire, and then reconnect it. Blowing air through the line may not always remove the clog.

Why is my Watts Premier Water System making noise from the faucet or drain?
    • C
      Courtney BonillaAug 21, 2025
Noise issues can stem from a few sources: * Air gap faucet: The sound is inherent with air-gap faucets. * Location of drain saddle: Check the diagram for proper location of the drain saddle. * Restriction in drain tube: Clear any blockage that may be caused by debris from the garbage disposal or dishwasher. * High water pressure: A pressure regulator is required if the pressure exceeds 80 psi.

    Jeremy HowardAug 25, 2025
Why is there a small amount of water in my Watts Premier Water System storage tank?
    • R
      rchenAug 26, 2025
A small amount of water in the storage tank could be due to: * System just starting up: It normally takes 6-10 hours to fill the tank. Low pressure and/or temperature can drastically reduce production rate. * Low water pressure. * Excessive air in the tank bladder: Tank pressure is set at the factory and should be 5 psi when empty. Add air if below 5 psi and bleed air if above 5 psi. Check only when the tank is empty.

Why is the water from my Watts Premier Water System milky colored?
    • H
      hawkinsrandallAug 29, 2025
Milky colored water is often due to air in the system. This is normal when initially starting up the RO system and should disappear within 1-2 weeks of normal use. If it reoccurs after filter changes, drain the tank 1 to 2 times.
