2.9.2.1 Massachusetts Installations Only
For Massachusetts installations, a mandatory external gas supply regulator must be positioned
as shown in Figure 2-8a – 2-8e, above. The gas supply regulator must be properly vented to
outdoors. Consult the local gas utility for detailed requirements concerning venting of the supply
gas regulator.
2.9.3 Manual Gas Shutoff Valve
A manual shut-off valve must be installed in the gas supply line upstream of the boiler as shown
in Figure 2-8a – 2-8e, above.
2.10 AC ELECTRICAL POWER WIRING
AERCO’s Benchmark Electrical Power Design Guide, TAG-0048 (GF-2060), must be consulted
prior to connecting any AC power wiring to the unit.
