WINDING BOBBINS
SETTING STITCH LENGTH
ADJUSTING OUTSIDE FOOT PRESSURE
REVERSE STITCHING
1. Slide bobbin onto rod on Bobbin Winder
2. Run thread from the Thread Stand to the bobbin, running thread over the top and around the bobbin a few
times with excess thread running through hole on left side (Figures 22a, 22b).
3. To get started winding the bobbin, push the black bar in front of the bobbin winder to engage (Figure 23).
4. Apply pressure to pedal to wind bobbin.

1. Rotate Outside Foot Presser Thumb Screw clockwise for more
pressure or counterclockwise for less pressure (Figure 26).
1. Stitch length can be adjusted by pushing in metal tab above Stitch
Length Dial, rotating knob to desired length, and releasing the metal
tab to lock in selection (Figure 24).
1. To reverse stitch, push down Reverse Stitch Lever located below the
Stitch Length Dial. Forward sewing will be automatically restored when
Reverse Stitch Lever is released to its original position (Figure 25).
