4.10.3 Install the base frame
1. Remove the cover from the air-conditioning unit.
2. Position the base plate on the roof with the weatherseal, align it and position spacer discs underneath the six fixing
points. Place six M8 bolts with washers in the holes (see Fig. 408).

3. Check that the base plate is in the correct position and secure it uniformly using the washers, and nuts supplied in
the installation kit (tightening torque 15 Nm).
4. The tightening torque for the self-tapping screws must be such that it does not damage the air distribution panel
and mounting points.
5. Route refrigerant hoses, electric cables and condensation hoses as shown in 4.12 and 4.13.
