The year in which the heater is used for the first time must be permanently
recorded on the heater’s rating plate by deleting the inapplicable year figures.
Ensure that shut-off devices in the fuel line return are open prior to start-up.
The vehicle cooling system must first be bled and then care must be taken to
bleed the heater when filling with fresh coolant. Top up with coolant if the level
is too low, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Check the openings of the combustion air inlet lines and exhaust pipe opening
and clean them if they are dirty.
Switch off the auxiliary heater before refuelling.
