Onlyconnecttosingle-phaseACcurrentandonlytothelinevoltagespeciedonthetype
plate.Connecontopowersocketswithoutanearthingcontactispossible,becausethisisa
proteconclassIIdesign.
6.5 Li-ionbaery
Forsafetyreasons(airtransportregulaons),thebaeriesaredelivereduncharged.Beforerst
use,thebaerymustbecompletelycharged.

Ifthebaeryisnotusedforaprolongedperiodofme,thebaeryswitchestostandbymode.
Touseagain,thebaerymustbereacvated(recharged).
Thechargestatuscanbecalledupbypressingthebuononthebaery(seeFig1).Todothis,
thebaerycanremaininthebaery-powereddevice,butitmustbeswitchedoatleast1
minutebeforehand(otherwisethedisplaywillnotbeaccurate).ThenumberofglowingLEDs
indicates the charge status.
Thebasicprincipleis:Ifthebaery-powereddevicedoesnotfunconaerthebaeryis
inserted,putthebaeryontothechargerfortesng.Thedisplaysonthebaeryandcharger
giveinformaonaboutthebaerychargestatus.
Atlowtemperatures,theworkcanbesllbecarriedoutwithlowerperformance.
Forbestoperaonalreadiness,thebaeriesmustbefullychargedaeruse.

